MultiDRAFT overview

MultiDRAFT is supplied with both MultiSTEEL and MultiREBAR

MultiDRAFT is a general detailing environment for AutoCAD. A number of drafting tools are provided to improve the production of your drawings. 
The environment noticeably improves detailing procedure and leads to increased drawing production, quality and consistency.

Drawing Setup The Drawing Set-up will set your drawing to the required drawing scale and insert your standard title block. This allows you to proceed knowing that all of the required variables have been set. Multi-Snaps Additional object snaps have been provided to further assist detailing and reduce the need for construction lines. Block Library This module allows you to build up a library of standard details. Icons for each block are automatically added to the screen icon menus for easy retrieval by you and others on the network. Construction Lines Construction Lines are a useful method of laying out drawing objects. Commands are provided to allow construction lines to be quickly added to your current working area. Dimensioning MultiDRAFT incorporates a dimensioning module that automates the dimensioning of selected objects. Grid Layout This module generates irregular spaced grids which are then labeled and dimensioned automatically. Hatching Additional hatch patterns are also provided. These include a user-size options for the creation of grate, chequer plate, earth and concrete patterns.

Layers MultiDRAFT incorporates a standardized layer system. Layers can be configured to the users convention. Tools are available to control the setting and freezing of layers. Lines A number of line-type styles are available and these can be used to indicate the use of various construction materials. Multiple Scales This powerful feature takes the hard work of controlling multiple drawing scales on AutoCAD drawings. Both Model Space and Paper Space work methods are supported Symbol Library A number of commonly used drawing symbols are included. These are inserted at the correct scale and contain attributes that can be easily edited. Text Tools Text tools are provided to allow rapid editing. Standard drawing notes are provided. User notes can be added to build up your own library of notes or specifications. Toolbox The MultiDRAFT toolbox provides many useful tools for general detailing. Walls This module provides a number of commands related to drawing walls. Filleted single, double, cavity walls and foundation lines can be generated.
